In the latter part of the 19th century, the English discovered the fantastic Jämtland wilderness. Sir Winston arranges some guided and exclusive snowmobile safari trips through Jämtland's fantastic nature. One of our trips goes to wild western Jämtland and we visit the area in western Jämtland where Winston Churchill visited with his three English comrades in the autumn of 1897.

The safari trip is permeated by history and fantastic nature experiences combined with culinary food & drink experiences! Jämtland is a region with many small-scale food producers, of course our meals will be imbued with the fantastic ingredients and products that come from our local and small-scale producers. Fishing in unique char waters with our good friends in the Sami villages, and wilderness lunch prepared along the trail or up in the mountains. Sauna and hot tub in the evening, specially arranged drink tastings, or why not a chocolate and wine tasting led by a knowledgeable and inspiring sommelier who is a member of the Swedish sommelier association.

Sir Winston's snowmobile adventure offers eventful days and includes one to three nights at beautiful Verkö castle near Östersund or at a mountain hotel that is beautifully located, at the foot of the mountain massif.

When we return with the scooters to Östersund on the last day of the adventure, we can sum up a nature experience that you and your friends rarely forget. Why not round off the Adventure with a Jämtland-inspired dinner at Sir Winston's in central Östersund before it's time to go home.
